SOIL SAMPLE
A soil sample gives us a peak at the health of the foundation for your new yard. It is important to make sure the land is ready to receive the sod we will be installing.
IRRIGATION
Testing and Review – Now is the time to install, repair and prepare to properly water your yard. We will conduct a thorough testing to make sure all pipes, valves and sprinklers are ready to deliver the correct amount of water to your yard. This also includes a review of your controller to ensure you have the needed capacity.
CHEMICALLY TREATED
Laying fresh sod over an existing lawn is no shortcut and could kill your sod. So after a thorough review of the irrigation system and soil testing, your yard is chemically treated to kill off any and all weeds and pre-existing vegetation and grass. Removing your old lawn before laying new sod is crucial for a healthy root system.
SOIL PREPARATION
The key to success with almost every project is proper preparation.
HARLEY RAKED
The surface is pulverized and machine groomed to breaking up hard and rocky beds.
HAND RAKED
Once the soil has been broken down, the area is hand raked removing remaining weeds, grass and oversized rocks.
SODPROS SOIL STEROIDS
This is not your big box mixture. After a thorough review of the soil sample we custom blend lime, root builder and fertilizer that leads to what we call happy soil. There is a special ingredient that is not found on most store shelfs.
